Good udon! Good sushi! The place can be a bit more cleaner and the staff can be a little more welcoming, but overall a good place to eat. There are homeless folks who hang out there sometimes and harass people so it can be a turnoff.

Great little hole in the wall sushi place. But they make up for tiny space with great sushi and bento boxes. Love this place. Always friendly and great service.

12/07/2023 - Post-adventure hike, we decided on Sake Sake Japanese Cuisine. Glad they were open till 9:30pm and gracious enough to serve our party of 5, as we arrived forty-five minutes to closing.
I decided on the Sashimi Salad ($21.95). Huge huge portion with a variety of decent quality fish (see my pic). I couldn't stomach it all, despite how hungry I was.
Service was quick, efficient and attentive. I appreciated that service had no negative vibes with our party of 5, dining in near closing time. Located in a strip mall with free parking. I'd choose Sake Sake Japanese Cuisine for late night eats and post-hike when/if i'm the area again.

6/08/2023 - I love this place! after they see you come in a few time they know your name and are very friendly! the sushi is made well not stinky or slimly but clean and fresh!
I eat here 2 times a week for lunch.
I have brought clients here and never bad service.
my favorites are the sushi burrito, dragon roll, the baked muscles, salmon bento box and baked salmon roll.
just a nice little hidden jewel in Sunland.
